Showing his sense of humor in typical fashion, about himself, Randy says,

“The first band I played in was Ghost Riders when I was 12.  Back then, we played Credence, The Beatles, The Stones, Neil Young, etc.  Today, we play Credence, The Beatles, The Stones, Neil Young, etc.  Everything in between is just a blur.”

Randy occasionally will sing lead, but more frequently he shares the position of “Director of Morale” with John Gooley.  He and John can barely resists any opportunity to insert humor into the lineup. 

Randy Walker will restore your faith in the classic concept of a “Guitar Hero”. 

 

Just as you have been lulled into acceptance of the band as highly competent musicians, a classic guitar solo will rip you into a realization that there still exists a select group of humans that can play note for note, your favorite guitar solo live, while singing, smiling, and sometimes while even dancing, but always with what appears to be the greatest of ease.
